Delivery Update


Normal deliveries should take place throughout the UK.

However, despite the Royal Mail's endeavours, it’s likely some areas of the country will experience some level of disruption due to Coronavirus-related absences at local mail centres or delivery offices.

Every item of mail is important to us, so we’re working hard to keep any delays to a minimum.

Therefore, please allow a few extra days before contacting us.

Postage Costs

UK, Channel Islands & Republic/Northern Ireland orders - will be sent by 1st class Royal Mail or alternative courier and will be charged at:

FIRST CLASS UK Delivery For Items Priced Under £39.99 are charged at £5.00 per order & are sent by Royal Mail 1st Class Post 

FIRST CLASS UK Delivery For Items Priced Over £40.00 are charged at £5.99 per order & are sent by Royal Mail 1st Class Post  

48HR TRACKED UK Delivery are charged at £6.99 per order & are sent by Royal Mail 48hr Tracked Post         

URGENT/NEXT DAY UK Delivery are charged at £8.99 per item sent by Royal Mail Next Day Post

EUROPE ORDERS will be sent by Royal Mail International Signed For or by alternative courier and will be charged at £15.00

UK DELIVERY

Individual timescales for despatch can be found on all product pages. (UK) delivery is by Royal Mail 1st class post and parcels should arrive in 1 -2 working day and 2nd Class 2-3 working days once they have been despatched.

EUROPE DELIVERY

International orders are sent by Courier and arrival times will vary dependant on the country of receipt on average this take 5 – 10 working days.

Most of our orders will be despatched within 1 - 2 days however a selection of our products are hand made and may take up to 14 days to be despatched. Each product has an estimated time of delivery beside each product to help you, If there is any delay in your order arriving please contact us and we will check this for you.

NEXT DAY DELIVERY* UK only

Parcels which are not delivered or are late are the responsibility of the carrier and not of Absolute Gifts as this is out of our control.

Most  parcels require a signature when they are delivered and it is not standard practice for these to be left with a neighbour or placed somewhere without a signature. If you are unable to sign for your package items sent by Royal mail will be held at your local sorting office. Recorded Delivery items will be held for 7 days. Special Delivery & International Signed For will be held for 3 weeks after which time it will be returned to Absolute Gifts. Alternative couriers will leave a relevant card that will inform you of how to have your parcel re-delivered and how long the item will be held before returning to Absolute Gifts.

We suggest that before placing urgent Jewellery orders that you contact us by e-mail or call 07368 671071 to ensure we can meet your time scale.

To ensure a speedy delivery some products may arrive in separate packages depending on items ordered.

We do not take responsibility for late or non-delivery due to factors outside our control.

Alternative couriers will leave a relevant card that will inform you of how to have your parcel re-delivered and how long the item will be held before returning to Absolute Gifts.

If a package has been returned to Absolute Gifts because delivery was not possible the cost of re-sending the package will be the responsibility of the customer.

Returns

At Absolute Gifts our aim is always to exceed your expectations and ensure that you are fully satisfied with the quality of our products and the standard of our customer service. If, however, you receive goods from us that do not meet your expectations for whatever reason, you can return them to us in an unused and resalable condition within 7 days of receipt for Jewellery items and 28 days for all other products, please contact us at (https://www.absolutegifts.co.uk/pages/contact-us) first quoting your order reference number and reason for return and await a reply from us with confirmation to return the order.

We will be more than happy to refund or exchange any product, for any reason, provided it is good/re saleable condition. You are obliged to take responsible care of the goods whilst in your charge. Upon satisfactory return, we will refund your payment through the same payment method used to purchase any products. exchange. 

REFUND OF DELIVERY CHARGE

We will refund your original delivery charge plus the return delivery charge when a product is faulty, damaged or incorrectly shipped. However if the return is an unwanted product, we will not be liable for the direct cost of return.

CANCELLATION POLICY

In respect of made-to-order or custom printed products our usual refund policy does not apply and products cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty. After seven working days, any deposits for special orders or custom printed orders will not be refunded on cancellation. Your deposit after this period confirms the contract. None of the above conditions affect your statutory rights when goods are faulty, or not as described.

PERSONALISED ITEM RETURNS

We regret that we cannot offer returns on unwanted items that have been personalised. This is in line with Long Distance Selling Regulations governing the sale of personalised products.

Please note that some products are non-refundable due to hygiene and food regulations (e.g. personalised gifts, food, bath and beauty products).  

Please contact us if you are returning your order, by email contact us by e-mail or call 07368 671071 and we will inform you of the address to return the goods to. 

We recommend that you either obtain a free 'Certificate of Posting' from the Post Office, or send your goods by Recorded Delivery. Where possible please use the original packaging and carefully pack items to prevent damage in transit. Aye Do Ltd respectfully advises that the goods remain your responsibility until we signed for them at the returns address. As such we cannot accept responsibility for returns lost or damaged in the post. 

Delivery charges, return postage and gift boxes/wrapping/gift message charges are non refundable unless the goods are faulty.
